BOSCH PSM100

on

On Amazon (here) you can find it at 60€ but I paid it in a shop around 40€ which is to me a fair price. I’ve been using it now for at least three years for my DIY project and honestly speaking it is a fair product but really nothing special. It’s well designed and comfortable because of its shape and weight but concerning the sanding efficiency I have to say there are any other products on the market that work better for the same price. It is useful when you have sand corners or small stuff but don’t think to use it for surface as it will take you days to do the job. I also found that is not so good for removing layers of paint from wooden forniture and for this kind of tasks I prefer to use my TackLife random orbit sander (here is my personal review of this power tool) or my multi tool from Worx (I just wrote my review about it). To me this palm sander feels like it is not sanding properly: it has a heavy touch on the back plate while it’s to soft on the front so you’ll end up using most of the time just the back plate.

I’ll give him some more tries but I am not sure this will be a long time companion in my shop even though I am just a DIYer.

Hope this is useful for you.
