I know it looks stupid and probably I Am but I finally figured out how to properly connect a push button to a digital input of my arduino in order to make the built in LED blink. It is very important that you connect a resistor (mine is 220) between the 2nd pin and the ground in order to give consistent signals to the digital input #2 (in my example).
