Today is Saturday and I finally got some spare time to finish this simple project. I had a lot of wood pallet laying around my garage and instead of throwing it away I decided that it could be useful to build a custom sized cabinet for my balcony in order to store some stuff out there and keep it away from sun and rain. I then realized that a wooden counter top wouldn’t last for a month out there and I started thinking on a different material: concrete!! It is so simple! I had to build a small mold, just a simple box made out of scrap wood and that’s it.. I didn’t paint it or removed the marks of the nails because it looks more industrial and I really love the way it looks. I also bought a sort of electric camp stove in order to cook outside when needed.
